(see also: weeds) weeds fire department 883-8220 weeds are not allowed to grow above a height considered to be a fire hazard. a certified notice will be sent by the fire department, requesting that the weeds be taken care of. if no action is taken within 15 days, the city will cut and dispose of the fire hazard and charge the property owner.
